Our Mission
To promote children’s optimal development and readiness to learn, so that they may reach their fullest potential within a healthy and secure community.

Our Goals

To provide services and programming that are both parent/caregiver and child orientated;
To provide education and training for parents and caregivers and professionals;
To provide information about community programs and services for children ages 0 to 6 and help families connect with those services;
To monitor the effectiveness of services and programs;
To improve services available for families and develop new services to fill identified gaps;
To help communities become more aware of the critical impact that the early years can have on children, families and society

Family and Children’s Services (FCS) of Renfrew County is the lead agency for the Ontario Early Years Centre in Pembroke.

PROGRAM

The Ontario Early Years Centre in Pembroke offers a variety of programs, services and special events throughout the year.

Monday to Friday	8:30 am to 4:30 pm*
*Please note that we are open from 5:30 to 8:00 pm when evening workshops/activities are scheduled
Summer Hours	8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Saturday	8:30 am to 12:00 pm CLOSED July and August
Sunday	CLOSED
Please note that the office is closed from 12:00 to 1:15 pm for lunch and from 4:30 to 5:15 pm for supper when evening workshops/activities are scheduled.
Play N Learn Drop-in Schedule

* Bilingual Play N Learn Drop-in on Thursday’s from 9:00 to 11:30 AM

Summer Hours: Park Days take place the second Tuesday of July and August.

We are closed on all Statutory Days and accompanying weekends: New Year’s Day Good Friday Easter Monday Victoria Day Canada Day Civic Holiday Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Boxing Day
